A professional veterinary treatment device based on Cold Atmospheric Plasma (CAP) technology, integrating two treatment modes: Gas-Jet Cold Plasma Jet (using medical-grade helium/argon gas, precisely targeting deep lesions) and Dielectric Barrier Discharge (DBD) (large-area surface care). High-frequency, high-voltage electric fields excite the working gas to generate low-temperature plasma, releasing ozone, hydroxyl radicals (·OH), nitric oxide radicals (·NO), ultraviolet light, and other active components. The device features a multi-probe design and requires no sedation or shaving, making it suitable for treating skin, wound, and oral diseases in dogs, cats, and other common pets.
DBD Cold Ion Combo Therapy System — delivering sterilization, anti-inflammatory, and tissue repair in one device, providing a safe and efficient clinical solution for veterinary hospitals.
Cold Atmospheric Plasma (CAP) technology uses high-frequency, high-voltage electric fields to excite working gases, generating low-temperature plasma rich in active particles at room temperature and pressure. This device integrates two CAP technology approaches: Gas-Jet Cold Plasma Jet (using medical-grade helium/argon, precisely directed through a nozzle to deep lesions) and DBD Dielectric Barrier Discharge (electrodes isolated by an insulating medium, suitable for large-area surface treatment). The active components produced (·OH, ·NO, ozone, UV light, etc.) achieve therapeutic effects through oxidative stress regulation, immune activation, and tissue repair mechanisms, with no radiation, no thermal damage, and high biocompatibility for pets.
Four key active components generated by DBD plasma, each with unique therapeutic effects
Broad-spectrum sterilization · Mite removal · Deodorization · Tissue oxygenation
Strong oxidation destroys bacterial and fungal cell membranes, achieving a 99.1% kill rate against Staphylococcus aureus in 10 minutes. Improves local tissue oxygen partial pressure, promoting wound healing. Effectively eliminates pet skin odors and kills scabies mites, ear mites, and other parasites.
Microbial DNA destruction · Auxiliary calcium absorption
UVC (200-280 nm) directly destroys microbial DNA, blocking reproduction; low-dose UVB promotes skin synthesis of vitamin D₃, aiding calcium absorption and bone repair.
Potent sterilization · Skin repair · Wound debridement · Anti-inflammatory
The most powerful reactive oxygen species, capable of penetrating cell walls to attack DNA and enzyme systems. Activates the ERK1/2 signaling pathway in fibroblasts, promoting collagen synthesis. Selectively removes excessive pro-inflammatory factors, ideal for chronic wound inflammation control.
Vascular repair · Wound healing · Immune activation
Activates the "·NO-sGC-cGMP" signaling pathway, dilating blood vessels and improving microcirculation. Inhibits platelet aggregation, promoting wound repair. Regulates immune response and enhances macrophage phagocytosis. Provides significant adjuvant therapeutic effects for arthritis, tendinitis, and other orthopedic conditions.
The DBD Cold Ion Combo Therapy System is equipped with two functionally complementary treatment handles, each excelling in different technology approaches for flexible switching based on lesion type
Principle: High-frequency, high-voltage ionization of the working gas (helium/argon) generates a highly focused low-temperature plasma jet at the nozzle tip (Cold Atmospheric Plasma Jet). The jet temperature is only 30–40°C, allowing it to reach deep lesions such as wounds, oral cavities, and ear canals for non-contact precise treatment. The jet is rich in ozone, UV light, and reactive nitrogen/oxygen species, synergistically delivering sterilization, disinfection, and healing promotion.
Deep wound infections · Stomatitis/Gingivitis/Periodontitis · Otitis externa · Post-operative incision disinfection · Bedsores/Diabetic foot · Sinus tract/Fistula irrigation
Principle: Based on DBD (Dielectric Barrier Discharge) technology, a large-area, uniform low-temperature plasma micro-discharge is generated between a glass electrode and the pet's skin. The glass electrode is filled with neon gas (Ne), emitting an orange-yellow plasma glow when powered, and gently contacts the skin surface for treatment. PWM precisely controls the discharge intensity with three adjustable levels, ensuring treatment comfort and safety for pets with varying tolerance levels.
Canine pyoderma · Feline ringworm/Malassezia dermatitis · Eczema/Seborrheic dermatitis · Allergic dermatitis · Large superficial wounds · Post-operative wound care
Covers a wide range of veterinary dermatological, wound, orthopedic, and oral clinical scenarios
Compared to traditional treatment methods, Cold Atmospheric Plasma (CAP) technology offers irreplaceable clinical value
Operating temperature of 30-40°C, far lower than laser, radiofrequency, and other thermal therapy devices. Does not burn skin, mucosa, or other normal tissues, especially suitable for wounds, oral mucosa, and other sensitive areas.
Synergistic action of active particles + electric field + UV light kills Gram-positive/negative bacteria, drug-resistant bacteria (MRSA), fungi, and viruses with a kill rate above 99%. Low tendency to induce drug resistance.
Controls infection while actively promoting tissue regeneration: activates fibroblast and vascular endothelial cell proliferation, accelerates granulation tissue and new blood vessel formation; regulates inflammatory response to prevent excessive inflammation from hindering healing.
Comes with 6 interchangeable treatment probes (rod, curved, comb, roller, tongue, shower), precisely fitting wounds, periodontal pockets, oral mucosa, joints, and other areas.
